2 days 1 night summit trek
A fast route for those who want to summit Rinjani, 3,726 meters above sea level, in a short time. Start from Sembalun, summit on the second day, and then descend directly. Suitable for fit climbers with limited time who still want the summit experience.
Why choose this route:
Shorter but just as impressive. You’ll pass through the iconic Sembalun savanna, camp in the Plawangan Sembalun area with views of the lake and crater, and then summit before sunrise. Because of the short time, we keep groups small to manage time and environmental impact.

Some important notes before climbing Mount Rinjani.
1. Physical and mental health.
2. ID card/passport.
3. Climbing equipment such as a thick jacket, good-quality hiking boots, quick-drying clothing, a flashlight, a power bank, trekking poles (optional), and other items.
4. Cash for personal expenses and tips for guides and porters (optional).
5. Try to bring only the necessary items to keep the program light.
6. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, you can hire an extra porter, but this will incur additional costs.
7. Other details will be explained during the briefing.
Explanation for the 2 days 1 night Sembalun-summit-Sembalun program
Day 1
1. 6:00-6:30 AM: Wake up early to prepare your luggage and get breakfast.
2. 7:00-7:45 AM: Begin your journey to Sembalun for a medical check-up and ticket registration.
3. 9:00-9:30 AM: Begin your ascent from the Kendang Sapi (Cattle Shed) gate.
4. 11:30-12:00 PM: Estimated arrival at Post 2 for lunch and recovery.
5. 1:00 PM: Continue your journey to the Sembalun basecamp.
6. 6:20 PM: Dinner, sunset, and pre-summit briefing.
Day 2
1. 2:00 AM: Begin your journey to the summit, typically taking 4-5 hours depending on your pace.
2. 6:30 AM: Estimated arrival at the summit to enjoy the sunrise while capturing the moment.
3. 7:30 AM: Descend from the summit to the basecamp, approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
4. 10:00 AM: Arrive at camp and enjoy breakfast prepared by the porters.
5. 11:00 AM: Descend back to Sembalun village via the same route.
6. 4:00 PM-5:00 PM: The climb is complete.
